An unusual incident unfolded at the “ROYAL ATS HERO” bike showroom in Sribhumi, Assam, on January 11, as four individuals claiming to be journalists caused a significant commotion. The situation escalated when the group attempted to record a video of a female employee, prompting intervention by local authorities.
The suspects, identified as Mohammed Abbas, Mohammed Yaiya, Gafur Khan, and Dipankar Dev, reportedly entered the showroom under the pretense of discussing a government-issued scooter. What began as a routine interaction quickly turned into a heated verbal altercation with the staff. Matters worsened when the individuals entered the showroom owner’s office and began filming without permission.
When confronted, the group claimed to be journalists but failed to produce valid credentials to substantiate their claim. This raised concerns among the showroom staff and nearby residents, who detained the individuals and alerted the local police.
