Man Hacks Son to Death in Assam’s Gohpur

Guwahati: An incident of suspected honour killing was reported in Gohpur of Assam on Thursday in which a man hacked to death his son.

The incident took place in Borpukhuri area.

The accused identified as Sibaram Basumatary, killed his son with a sharp edged-weapon.

The deceased has been identified as Dauharam Basumatary.

Moreover, Sibaram Basumatary has been arrested by the police officials in connection with the murder.
