Murder | Father stabbed wife to death with knife, daughter who came to save mother, then called Dial 100

A brutal murder. First, the wife was stabbed to death. The father then stabbed the daughter who came to save her mother. The man’s wife was killed on the spot in the brutal attack and the daughter fought to death in the hospital. The killer himself called Dial 100 after stabbing his wife and daughter. The incident took place on Saturday at Pushpak apartment on 33C Manohar Pond Road under Ravindra Sarovar police station in Kolkata

Police sources said Arvind Bajaj, a resident of Pushpak apartment on 33C Manohar Pond Road in Rabindra Sarovar police station area, called Dial 100 at 7.30pm on Saturday and said he had killed his wife and 18-year-old daughter. Police immediately reached the spot. Police opened the door and noticed the mother and daughter lying in a state of rage

Police rescued the man’s daughter and sent her to the hospital as the girl did not die. But Arvind’s wife had already died. Police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital. Police have since arrested the accused Arvind and started interrogating him as to why he committed the incident
