Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan has sent a letter to the states. It said, “NCDC said, “Botswana 3, South Africa 6 and Hong Kong 1 person have been diagnosed with a B.1.1.529 variant of corona.
Bhushan also said that besides these countries, it is mandatory to carry out rigorous screening of passengers of the “risk” country included in the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It may be recalled that the B.1.1.529 variant is now threatening South Africa. Who has called for an urgent meeting to discuss this form of corona virus.
