An Army jawan of Assam Rifles was killed in an attack by some people.
Six army personnel were seriously injured.
The slain army jawan has been identified as Gautam Lal.

It may be recalled that there has been a strong reaction across Nagaland recently over the indiscriminate firing by the Indian Army on Saturday evening that killed 12 villagers.
While some villagers from Oting village in Na district were returning from Lowar Tiru village to Oting village in a pickup car, the Army fired heavily at the car suspecting it to be a rebel. As a result, 12 people who were on the spot were killed in the vehicle.
Three vehicles were torched by the agitated people.
