Army apologises for Nagaland incident: Cm to pay last tribute to those killed today…
The war like atmosphere prevails in Man district of Nagaland. The general public in Man district created a heated situation after 16 innocent persons were shot dead. An army jawan was killed and burnt in a mob attack by assam rifles.
The chief minister will pay tributes to those killed in the barbaric attack on Monday. Special events have been organized for the event. Meanwhile chief minister Nephiu Rio has urged everyone to maintain an atmosphere of peace in view of the situation. According to recent reports, the fire of violence has spread to Tuensang in Nagaland.
Meanwhile the Army has apologised for the incident and has shared intelligence inputs. The Army has also agreed to punish the guilty officer through investigation. Nagaland SMS and internet services have been suspended as the situation worsened even though the Army apologised.
