Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will arrive in India today. Putin will arrive in India for the 21st India-Russia Summit to be held in India. Putin will arrive in India on December 6. Russian President Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the meeting during this period.
This will be the first meeting of the two leaders during the Corona period. The summit will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships. The Prime Minister of Russia will return to India after spending 6-7 hours due to coronacentric conditions.
The first edition of the India-Russia ‘Two-Plus-Two’ meeting will be held with a summit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin. The first 2+2 talks between India and Russia will be held on December 6.
Several agreements may be signed on the Visit of the Russian President to India. This will be Vladimir Putin’s second foreign trip in 2021. Putin last came to attend the summit in 2018. The two countries signed the S-400 Agreement.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Vladivostock city in eastern Russia in 2019. India had at that time announced a $1 billion soft credit line to increase Indian business participation in eastern Russia’s growth. Meanwhile, the summit is expected to discuss the S-400 in detail.
