CDS Rawat and wife Madhulikar will be cremated on friday on national status

The helicopter met with a fatal accident at Nanjapanchathiram in Kunnur, Tamil Nadu on its way to Defence Services College in Wellington from Air Force Base in Sulu. The indian air force Mi-17V5 helicopter had fourteen riders including pilots. Thirteen people including Rawat’s wife Madhulika Rawat succumbed to their deaths in a tamil nadu helicopter accident including CDS Rawat. One is still fighting life and death. The funeral of bipin rawat, the country’s first chief of defence staff and his wife Madhulika Rawat, who lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash, will be held in Delhi on Friday. The last tribute will be paid to the brave child of the country with full national status. The mortal remains of CDS Rawat and wife Madhulika Rawat will be brought to Delhi by a Special Army aircraft on Thursday.
The mortal remains of CDS Bipin Rawat and wife will be kept at Rawat’s own residence for admirers and relatives from 11am to 2pm on Friday. It may be recalled that foreign countries have also expressed deep grief over the death of Bipin Rawat.
