Tragic road accident in Boko at night, one person killed on the spot, many injured

One person died on the spot and three others including the driver were seriously injured in a tragic road accident on National Highway 17 in Lampara under Boko police station in Chhagaon constituency on Wednesday night.

The tragic road accident reportedly occurred when a Mahindra Maximo vehicle lost control and hit the roadside at high speed.

The vehicle numbered AS-01M C-0484 crashed while travelling from Guwahati to Chhatabari Industrial Development Centre.

The driver of the vehicle and other injured persons were rescued and sent to Guwahati Medical College Hospital for better treatment after the accident was attempted by police and locals.

The man who died on the spot due to the accident has been identified as Prosenjit Sen (28) of Nalbari.
