Bsf jawan killed and tried to supply drugs: One killed…
The bsf jawan was attacked in BoP Nawada area of Malda sector around 4.15am on Wednesday in West Bengal. A team of Indian and Bangladeshi smugglers reportedly tried to supply drugs and surrounded and attacked a Border Security Force jawan on duty.
Jawans then exploded a grenade to protect themselves from drug traffickers and disperse them. This was followed by a shooting at the jawan by drug traffickers. As a result the jawan fired 2 rounds for self defence.
As a result one of the drug traffickers was shot dead. The injured drug supplier was taken to the hospital but later died in the hospital. Bsf has been able to seize a large quantity of drugs following the incident.
