Mumbai News: MNS workers vandalise IPL team bus, say why buses are being ordered from outside

About half a dozen workers of the MNS-Vahtuk Sena (Transport Wing) barged into the bus before midnight, pasting posters of their demands in front of the bus, shouting slogans and breaking windows. Later, an activist, Sanjay Naik, said that they were opposing the way buses were being rented from outside the state for this purpose and were depriving the locals of employment opportunities.

“Despite our protest, they have allowed several buses and other small vehicles here from Delhi and other parts, which is affecting the livelihood of the local people,” Naik said, adding that the police rushed to the spot to save more buses from damage and detained at least three MNS-VS activists in the early hours of Wednesday.
