Watch! Viral video from Gujarat’s Village shows a pack of dogs chasing away a lion

Guwahati: Not just we as human beings but carnivores scare the animal kingdom too. You’ve probably seen a lot of videos of lions or tigers attacking deer or goats, but the video you’re going to watch is unusual. A lion is seen being chased from the streets by a bunch of dogs. It appears that the incident happened after midnight.

The lion had infiltrated a village near Gir Somnath in Gujarat. A group of dogs charged in and chased the lion away as it was ambling through the town streets. A herd of cows was nearby as the lion went towards them.

The video has sparked a discussion regarding territorial defence strategies used by animals to keep away intruders of different species. Dogs have the same characteristics. Others highlighted the hardship of creatures like this that enter communities in quest of food.
