5-Year-Old Sustains Severe Burn Injuries After Falling into Pot of Hot Dal In MP
Guwahati: In yet another tragic incident, five years-old sustain grievous burn in juries after falling into a utensil with hot daal a at primary school in baansla of Madhya pradesh on Monday.
The incident occurred, when students at a primary school baansla were receiving their daily lunch.
The victim identified as, Tejshwari Tandiya.
According to reports, Tejeswari was standing in a line with her classmates, when chaos brook out and the students started pushing and shoving one another.
Following the chaos, the victim was pushed into the boiling daal pot were she sustained 30% of injuries on her body.
The victim was immediately shifted to a near by hospital in Bhanupratappur for medical attention.
Letter she was transferred to the district’s hospital were she is currently receiving medical treatment.
According to reports, school administrators broke the rules of the midday meal programme by failing to make sure that the students were seated while food was being served.
A team has been assembled to investigate the situation and take necessary action against anyone found accountable for the gross carelessness that caused the unfortunate tragedy.
The concerned officials have been given a show-cause notice.
Parents and locals are furious over the incident and want the school administration punished severely.
Pratik Jain, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhanupratappur said a committee has been assembled to look into the egregious carelessness of school administrators.
“We are taking appropriate action against the concerned teachers and a show-cause notice has been issued to them. We are trying to ensure that such an incident does not happen again,” he added.
Moreover, the Madhya Pradesh government has pledged to take all necessary measures to protect the security of students eating lunch in class.
