Raj Kundra Breaks Silence After Three Years, Denies Involvement in Pornography Allegations

Businessman Raj Kundra, who has been embroiled in a controversial legal battle regarding allegations of pornography production, has finally spoken out after a period of silence spanning over three years. In a candid interview with ANI, Kundra vehemently denied the accusations, clarifying his role and addressing the emotional toll the situation has taken on his family.

Kundra explained that although he had initially chosen to remain silent, the involvement of his family in the controversy pushed him to speak out. “Silence is bliss,” he said. “But when it comes to family, I feel I should come out and speak. When I stay quiet, people think I’m hiding something, and people should realize the truth.”

The businessman firmly rejected the notion that he had any part in the production of pornography, stating that his role was strictly that of a technology provider. Kundra explained that he had provided technological services to a company owned by his brother-in-law, which hosted an app offering bold but non-pornographic content in the UK. “I have not been a part of any pornography or production,” he asserted. “The app we worked on was for an older audience, with A-rated films, but they were not pornographic.”

Kundra also addressed the allegations that linked him to a network of 13 apps involved in adult content, reiterating that he was merely a service provider. “Let a girl come forward who says that I have met her or worked in any of my movies,” he added. “The media claims I’m the kingpin of all these apps, but I was only involved in software technology, and nothing inappropriate was being run.”

Remaining confident in his innocence, Kundra expressed his trust in the judicial process. “If I’m guilty, charge me; if I’m not, discharge me,” he stated firmly.

Reflecting on his time in detention, Kundra recounted the 63 days he spent in custody after his arrest by Mumbai police. While acknowledging the emotional difficulty of being separated from his family, he expressed his confidence in his eventual exoneration. “Being away from my family was hard, but I am confident I will win this case because I know I did nothing wrong,” he said. He also expressed gratitude to the judiciary for granting him bail, which he believed demonstrated the lack of merit in the allegations.

Kundra admitted that the controversy had severely impacted his reputation and caused immense harm to his family, but he remained determined to seek justice. “The respect we lost will never come back, but I have to keep fighting,” he remarked, “and I hope the truth will come out.”

Apart from the pornography case, Kundra is also under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for alleged money laundering. He suggested that business rivalries might have played a role in the controversy, claiming that certain individuals were plotting against him. Kundra further revealed that he had written to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) with the names of those he believed were responsible for damaging his reputation. While he did not disclose these names publicly, he expressed hope that those behind the plot would eventually face justice.

In conclusion, Kundra made a bold statement, saying, “Karma will be served. Justice will be served.”
