Smoke and Flames: Two Separate Fires Erupt in Mumbai

The city of Mumbai experienced a night of unexpected fire incidents. Early Monday morning, flames erupted in the residential building of renowned Bollywood singer Shaan. Firefighters swiftly responded to the scene, effectively containing the blaze and preventing significant damage. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

Footage from the incident captured unsettling scenes of smoke billowing from a window of one of the apartments. While the video is alarming, reports indicate that Shaan and his family are safe.

Earlier in the evening, a separate fire broke out in a scrapyard located in the slum area of Mankhurd. The blaze ignited around 7 PM at a warehouse near the Ayappa Temple in the Mandala region.

Upon receiving the emergency call, four fire trucks were immediately dispatched to the site. Firefighting efforts continued for several hours before the flames were finally brought under control.

A spokesperson from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation confirmed the absence of any reported casualties. They further elaborated that four fire trucks, along with other emergency vehicles, actively participated in the firefighting operations.
