Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) Survives Life-Threatening Ocean Incident in Goa
Popular content creator Ranveer Allahbadia, known by his online alias BeerBiceps, had a close call with danger on Christmas Eve while swimming in the open ocean with his girlfriend in Goa. The terrifying incident occurred around 6 pm when an unexpected underwater current pulled the couple away from the shore.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ranveer shared his experience, explaining that he and his girlfriend had been enjoying a casual swim, a routine activity for him since childhood. “We both love swimming in the open ocean,” he wrote. However, the relaxing swim quickly turned dangerous when they were caught by a strong current. “A casual, fun dip in the waves was interrupted by an underwater current that toppled both of us. The next thing we knew, we were both struggling to stay afloat,” he recalled.
Despite their experience in the water, the couple found themselves overpowered by nature’s force. The situation became critical when Ranveer began swallowing water and started to lose consciousness. At that moment, a nearby family, including an IPS officer and his IRS officer wife, came to their rescue, pulling them out of danger.
The incident has deeply affected Ranveer, prompting him to reflect on his life. “Almost feel like this one life experience has changed my perspective towards living,” he expressed. After the rescue, Ranveer contacted his brother Salvador, who performed a prayer of thanksgiving.
In keeping with his usual practice of respecting his girlfriend’s privacy, Ranveer shared photos from the incident with her identity concealed. One photo showed her face covered with a sunflower emoji, while another captured only her back.
Wrapping up his post with gratitude, Ranveer thanked God for the gift of life: “We lived for a reason! Merry Christmas to you all and to your families. Thank you God, for life!”
