Spate of Shootings Rocks Haryana: Two Killed in Yamunanagar Gym Attack, Other Violent Incidents Raise Alarms

In a tragic incident in Yamunanagar, Haryana, two men lost their lives, and another sustained critical injuries following a shooting on Thursday. The attack unfolded as the victims exited a gym in the Lakha Singh Khedi area and approached their vehicle. Masked assailants on motorcycles opened fire, riddling the victims with bullets before fleeing the scene. The chilling act, captured on CCTV, has since circulated on social media, amplifying public concern.

The identities of the deceased, both in their mid-30s, remain undisclosed. The injured victim is currently receiving medical care, with his condition described as critical. Police have launched a probe to uncover the motive behind the attack and apprehend the culprits.

This incident is part of a disturbing pattern of violent shootings in Haryana in recent weeks. On Sunday night, three individuals were gunned down in the parking lot of a hotel in Panchkula. The victims, identified as Vicky and Vipin from Delhi and Nia from Hisar, were shot by unidentified attackers. The brazen nature of the attack has raised questions about security and law enforcement in the region.

Earlier, on December 8, a businessman in Fatehabad was arrested for allegedly murdering his friend in a separate shooting incident. The accused, Palvinder, also known as Pampa, reportedly shot 45-year-old Manoj Bansal, originally from Jharkhand, inside a shop. The crime was captured on CCTV, showing the suspect firing at Bansal at close range. Investigators are still working to determine the motive for the killing.

These successive acts of violence have alarmed residents and highlighted the need for stricter security measures across Haryana. Authorities are under increasing pressure to address the rising instances of gun violence and ensure public safety.
