Elephant safari opened to tourists in Kaziranga National Park from today. According to park director P Shiva Kumar, the park authorities have been able to collect more than Rs 35 lakh in revenue against nearly 18,000 tourists visiting the national park since the jeep safari started in the national park on October 1. The Kaziranga National Park Authority is hopeful that the number of foreign tourists will increase if the movement of international flights is smooth
