Chief Minister’s meeting with SP-DC of Jorhat district as well as OK of police station, what instructions did you give to the police

Chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma attended a special meeting with top police officers of the district and officials in charge of police stations in Jorhat on Saturday evening. During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the criminal incidents and law and order situation in Jorhat with police officials.

In the meeting the chief minister directed to file an prosecution of heinous crime cases within three months. The chief minister directed the police officers not to register cases under the proper sections of ipc or CRPC and not to give recitation to any middleman or professional FIR writer at the police station.

The chief minister directed regular crime conferences to be held in the district and advised them to maintain proper coordination between DC, SP and joint director of health services.
