Utpal Barpujari’s short film ‘Shagun’ to International Children’s Rites Film Festival

Noted filmmaker Utpal Barpujari’s short film ‘Shagun’ has been selected for the International Children’s Rites Film Festival. The International Children’s Rites Film Festival will be held in turkey’s historic coastal city from November 12 to November 20. The short film highlights corruption, bias, spreading fake news, etc., which have rocked the world of journalism of the present age. ‘Shagun’ was also screened at the 21st New York Indian Film Festival. The film won the best film award in the short film title of the 13th Guwahati International Film Festival organized by Guwahati Cine Club.
