Himanish Baruah, a class VII student of Dibrugarh Vairagimath New Village and Donbox School, was able to make his name in the India Book of Records through “Hi Ni Jumper” (high knee jumps). Himanish, the only child of Tonkeshwar Baruah and Dipanjali Baruah of Vairagimath New Village, broke the previous record 104 times in just 30 seconds through ‘Hi Ni Jump’ and engraved his name in the India Book of Records. It may be recalled that Earlier Patel Pins Suresh Bhai of Gujarat had made it to the India Book by “hi ni jump” 101 times in 30 seconds. The Class VII student from Dibrugarh broke the gujarat youth’s record by hitting a high jump 104 times in 30 seconds. The India Book of Records recognizes Himanis with a certificate, an identity card, a book, a log, a medal, a badge and a pen. Parents, school authorities and local people are elated that the student of class VII student from Dibrugarh has taken a place in the India Book of Records and brought glory.
