Declaration of results of kamakhya temple’s doloi election (elections). According to the results announced this evening, Shaktipeeth Kamakhya was selected as The Very Groom of Kabir Prasad Sharma and Himadri Himu Sharma as the younger one.
Polling was held from 8am to 3pm on Sunday. Around 386 priests elect two couples. It may be recalled that five priests had contested the elections in Dadar.
The awardees who competed are Mohit Sharma, Kovindra Prasad Sharma, Fanindranath Sharma, Manas Sharma and Himadri Himu Sharma respectively
