CM orders payment of Cheque of Rs 5 lakh from state government to Animesh Bhuyan’s family

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma has expressed deep grief over the death of a youth named Animesh Bhuyan who was killed in the massacre in Jorhat on Monday. Accordingly, minister Dr. Ranoz Pegu met the unfortunate family on the advice of the chief minister and offered condolences to the family.

The chief minister, however, directed the administration to provide punishment to the culprits involved in the case through a fast track court and to file a complaint against the culprits within a month.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister has also directed Special Director General of Police GP Sing to personally look into the investigation process in the incident. The chief minister has also directed that the family of Animesh Bhuyan, who was killed in the incident, be given a cheque of Rs 5 lakh from the state government
