56 kg ganja seized from night bus in Kasar: Four arrested

Kasar police seized a large quantity of ganja from a night super bus on Friday night after conducting a search on the basis of intelligence inputs. The ganja was seized from the bus in a raid conducted by police at Digarkhal compound search post at Katigra police station and Gumrah police station at night.

The ganja was hidden under the seat of the night bus number MN 01 BA-0152 heading to Badarpur-Guwahati. Police said the seized ganja amounted to 56 kg. Police have arrested four persons for supplying ganja.

Police have identified the houses of the arrested as bihar. The arrested are Sunil Kumar (25), Durgesh Kumar (25) and Rajesh Rai (60). One of them is a minor. According to police, the ganja was supposed to be taken to Bihar. The market value of the seized ganjakhin is estimated to be several lakhrupees
