Gold ornaments looted by thieves in Nagaon taking advantage of not being a host The incident came to light on Monday evening. The incident took place in Amolapatta Democracy Press Teen Ali in Nagaon city. Dimb The burglary took place in the house of a man named Eshwar Sharma Baruah. Baruah along with his family visited Shilghat Kamakhya in Koliyabar today. Sandhya came home and found two rooms of the house ransacked. The cupboard door was broken.
According to Dimbeswar Sharma Baruah, they were carrying gold ornaments worth around Rs 4 lakh and Rs 7500. Police have launched an investigation into the incident but the thieves have not been traced. Recently there have been massive thefts in Nagaon city but police have failed to nab the thieves.
