In Batdrava, again, the smugglers with drugs

Baribazar police in Batdrava constituency parallel to the entire state are continuing their anti-drug operation. Baribazar police on Friday chased a tip off and arrested one person along with drugs and narcotic sirap from Khalpaya village. Baribazar police have recovered five drug laden containers, 31 narcotic sirap bottles and detained Rahul Islam and continued interrogation in the house of notorious drug mafia Rahul Islam in Khalpaiya village in a raid led by Munindra Deka, officer-in-charge of Baribazar police guard post under Morigaon district.

It may be recalled that last Tuesday also a total of Rs 10 lakh worth of drugs including 680 narcotic tablets along with 97 empty container were recovered from the house of notorious drug mafia Khajal Uddin from south Shilpukuri village under Baribazar police watch post.
