If it is submerged in water for a few days, it is feared that the large motor will completely collapse as the braz will be covered with a pest. It may be recalled that the mega scheme, which wasset in the 70s at a cost of crores of rupees, has now become a bear.’ Initially some farmers got some relief from the scheme but the scheme came to a standstill after that. But what if the scheme comes to a standstill has also been alleged to have been spending lakhs of rupees every year in the name of repairing the scheme. The concerned employees have also been receiving regular da-pay. Only farmers have to cry out for a cap of water in the field.
