Nature Conservation, a plastic bottle banned in Sikkim since 2022
The plastic bottle disambet will be banned from 2022 in the northeastern hill state of Sikkim.
The Sikkim Tourism Board has decided to ban the consumption of waste plastic bottles in the state since 2022 mainly with the objective of environment conservation in mind.
State tourism department joint sachiv Marcus P Rai has urged all transport agencies like home stay stake in the state not to fully deal with plastic water bottles since 2022.
In October this year, state chief minister Prem Singh Tamang had announced that the business plastic water bottle disbursed in Sikkim would be banned once from 2022.
It may be recalled that lakhs of tourists from different states of the country arrive in the hill state of Sikkim every year.
