A massive fire broke out at Night at Nagrijuli in Tamulpur. A wholesale manohari shop burnt down around 1.30pm at The Nagarijuli Weekly Market.
Strong panic among the public and traders after the fire broke out. The fire was brought under control at the end of about an hour and a half by the local public. As a result the business area was saved from the terrible situation.
The fire caused the manohari shop to burn down. Fire tenders from Rangiya and Goreshwar came and helped douse the flames.
Goods worth around Rs 12 lakh were consumed in the fire. There was no electricity connection in the shop. Whether a wicked person has set fire to a shop or what caused the fire is under mystery.
