In Assam, 8339 people were again diagnosed with covid positive.
Of these, 1929 are from Kamrup Metro, 513 from Dibrugarh, 414 from Jorhat and 396 from Kachar.
35161 patients are still undergoing treatment in the state with corona.
Meanwhile, 15 people suffering from corona died in the state on Wednesday.
On the other hand, 2723 people recovered in Assam on that day.
The positive rate in the state at present is 12.89 per cent.
