APRB launches IMPS facility for its customers

Guwahati: A large online inauguration program was held at the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) headquarters on March 23.

Chief General Manager (A&S) Mihir Narayan Prasad Mishra of SBI, Corporate Center Mumbai performed the inauguration.

APRB once more astounded its client by integrating UPI in its bank. The bank has deployed the IMPS Facility and is now an IT-savvy bank.

The RBI CBS-enabled program E-KUBER, which APRB also registered for, allows it to conduct direct trading for a variety of products, including CRR, MSF/LAF, and real-time a/c settlement with RBI.

The opening of the third level of the APRB headquarters by Mishra, IMPS, E-KUBER, and IMPS on that day marked a significant improvement in the company’s brand image. It contains a cutting-edge conference room, administrative and audit rooms, and many other administrative sections in addition to a 25-person modular dining area. The current APRB tagline, according to Dr. Gupta, is “APRB Main DUM HAI, UPI AB SANG HAI.” He asked the clients to connect any UPI application to their APRB account.

The Naharlagun branches completely restored, fully air-conditioned facilities were also opened. By updating the KAMBA and MARIYANG branch locations with a contemporary aesthetic and all digital amenities, the bank enhanced its brand image.

Mihir Mishra, praising the efforts done by APRB, CGM, and SBI, stated that APRB has changed under the capable guidance of the current chairman. He continued by saying that in the current banking climate, a bank must have UPI, Mobile Banking, and other IT products, and APRB is changing this by utilizing not only the newest technologies but also beautiful branch environments for improved customer service.

Mishra suggested that the bank expand its reach by creating new branches in other neighborhoods. He correctly noted that banks must exercise caution in their operations as even minor errors could damage the lovely brand image and sound financial position developed by APRB.

The efforts made by team APRB were also praised by General Manager (RRB), V Sivakumar from SBI Corporate Centre Mumbai. According to him, the APRB team in the state of Arunachal Pradesh has evolved into a contemporary banking brand. The general manager of NABARD praised the APRB team for their outstanding performance. He added that NABARD, APRB’s supervisor, is pleased with the organization’s performance and that the audit report of APRB is positive. He continued by saying that the APRB has a bright future in Arunachal Pradesh.

All dignitaries were informed by Dr. Gupta that the number of accounts being opened by APRB has doubled over the past two years, and that it now opens more than 60000 accounts annually. Customers now trust APRB because there is a deposit of about Rs. 1100 crore and a loan of Rs. 360 crore.

The bank’s NPA is under 3%, which is among the lowest in the country for any Regional Rural Bank.
