Amit Shah Lays Foundation Stone for BJP’s new Office in Assam’s Dibrugarh
Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a massive rally at Mankata in Dibrugarh district of Assam and lay the cornerstone for the BJP’s new office there.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma as well as other party members and supporters, attended the occasion.
Shah paid tribute to Sudhakantha Dr. Bhupen Hazarika and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankaradeva, two of Assam’s greatest cultural figures, in his speech and recalled their contributions to the state’s history. Along with making fun of Rahul Gandhi, he emphasised the BJP’s effective rule in the northeastern states.
Shah stressed the growth and progress the BJP-led administration in Assam is making, which has led to the creation of 41,000 employment in the state. The nation’s citizens, he said, want Prime Minister Narendra Modi to continue governing it.
Shah also declared that the state of Assam would get 12 new medical colleges, which would improve healthcare options for residents.
The occasion served as a demonstration of the BJP’s expanding support in Assam and its dedication to furthering the state’s development. Senior party officials attended the rally and participated in the laying of the cornerstone ceremony for the new BJP office, showing the party’s emphasis on fortifying its organisational framework there.
