Assam: Yaba Tablets Seized In Hailakandi

Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, Assam Police seized a massive consignment of Yaba Tablets in the Hailakandi district of the state on Thursday.

As per information received, officials seized the Yaba Tablets from Narainpur Pt III of the district.

During the operation, a total of 10,000 Yaba Tablets were seized.

Moreover, a notorious peddler whose identity had surfaced in numerous prior cases of drug trafficking and peddling in the area was also apprehended during the operation.

Police identified the arrested peddler as Bilal Uddin Choudhury.

The market value of the seized tablets was suspected to be 40 lakhs in the international drug markets.
