Major fire breaks out in Residential building in Assam, no casualties

Guwahati: A major fire broke out a residential building in Tinsukia district of Assam on Friday night.

The fire broke out in a building named Raj Tower at Siraputty in Tinsukia.

According to reports, the fire first erupted from the security guard’s room of the building.

The building’s security guards claim that a burning candle caused the massive fire to erupt.

Upon receiving information about the incident, three fire tenders arrived at the spot.

Police officers and members of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) also arrived at the spot.

Relentless efforts from the fire-fighting team managed to douse the fire.

No injuries or casualties have been reported as yet.
