Assam: Home Guard Found Dead in Duliajan

Guwahati: A home guard’s body was found under mysterious circumstances in Dibrugarh district of Assam.

The body was found in Duliajan of the district.

The deceased has been identified as Pulin Gogoi, a resident of Tingkhang.

According to reports, he worked for the Duliajan Oil Market.

The body was first spotted by locals in the area on Friday who then informed the police officials about the incident.

The exact reason that led to the death of the home guard is yet to be ascertained.

Inquiry into the incident has been launched by the police.

However, the Dibrugarh Home Guards Association has asked for compensation to Pulin’s family.
