Assam: Moral Policing Young Woman Beaten Up by Group Of Men In Baksa

Guwahati: A young woman was assaulted by a mob of young men at Dumuni Ghat near Baksa in Assam in yet another case of moral policing.

The victim, a native of Baksa’s Kajiamati village, suffered a physical assault for an unidentified reason.

The incident has been widely circulated on social media, with graphic images and videos of the young girl being thrashed by the group.

A journalist is also reportedly accused of being involved in the incident, further complicating the situation.
