Woman, Minor Girl Succumb To Injuries In Tinsukia Factory Fire
Guwahati: A woman and a minor girl who was battling for their lives after the fire incident that occurred at a noodle manufacturing plant at Doom Dooma under Tinsukia district of Assam, succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased woman has been identified as Rita Kumari while the minor girl named as Ayushi Choudhury.
As per reports, Rita Kumari was an employee of the factory, while the deceased minor girl was the daughter of the factory owner.
Another woman also sustained injuries in the incident in addition to the two.
Following the incident, all three of them were admitted to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) for better treatment.
However, the minor girl and the woman passed away from their wounds on Tuesday morning.
The fire incident was reported at noodle factory located at Talap Bali Baazar locality on Monday evening.
Fortunately, the fire was successfully doused before it could spread to other properties by locals and fire tenders.
