Guwahati: An alleged knife incident near the Basistha temple in Guwahati city left two youths injured on Monday. The two were reportedly stabbed after being accosted by another young person.
The victims have been identified as Krishan Singh and Prabhat Singh while the alleged attacker has been named as Putul Kalita.
According to reports, the Kalita attacked the boys after a contentious disagreement. When things started to get out of hand, Kalita took a knife and stabbed them.
Both of the injured youths were shifted to a local hospital for treatment after the incident.
The cause of the escalation has not yet been determined.
