Assam: Massive Fire Guts Cinema Hall in Tinsukia

A cinema hall was completely destroyed on Tuesday night by a large fire that started in Sadiya, a neighbourhood in Assam’s Tinsukia district.
Where the movie theatre was located, near the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border, the incidence was reported.

The firefighters arrived at the scene in the interim and extinguished the flames. Fortunately, there were no recorded casualties.

The name of the movie theatre and the reason for the fire are still unknown as of this writing.

Three homes were destroyed last Friday in a large fire that started in a suburb in the Dhubri area. The event was reported from Bilasipara’s Suapata Part 1 village.
Families of Mohiruddin Sheikh, Rahim Badshah, and Babar Ali were among those who were impacted. According to sources, the unheard-of fire damaged goods worth more than Rs 5 lakh.

It was thought that one of the homes’ short circuits was what caused the fire to start. Later, the fire spread to the neighbouring homes, gutting them entirely.

Soon after, firefighters arrived at the scene and enlisted the assistance of the townspeople to successfully put out the fire.
