8 Medical Workers Stranded Along Brahmaputra In Assam’s Dibrugarh

Guwahati: A team of medical workers have been abandoned by the Brahmaputra River’s banks in Dibrugarh of Assam, reports emerged on Sunday.

According to initial reports, the medical crew got lost and ended up stranded. Added sources stated that they have been trapped since yesterday.

According to reports, the team had just finished performing its medical duties and was on their way back when they got lost.

Meanwhile, it has come to the fore that as many as eight people are in the team including doctors and paramedical workers.

The squad also includes a number of women who work for ASHA, reports further claimed. According to further reports, a team assembled by the district administration would travel to the scene and start the rescue efforts.
