Guwahati: Major Landslide Near Kamakhya Temple, Part of Road Collapses

Guwahati: A tragic landslip was reported on Monday in Guwahati close to Kamakhya Temple after several days of nonstop rain.

Due to the landslip, a section of the road in Durga Sarovar crumbled sparking alarm among local residents as there are multiple residences below the road.

District administration officials flocked to the scene as restoration efforts got underway.

So far, no causalities have been reported due to the landslide.
