Nagaland Police Holds Inaugural Physical Meeting for Enhanced Coordination

Nagaland Police recently convened its first physical meeting of all Unit Commanders and Senior Police Officers at the Police Headquarters in Kohima, chaired by Director General of Police, Rupin Sharma. The meeting aimed to enhance coordination and strategic planning within the police force.

During the meeting, DGP Rupin Sharma commended the Unit commanders and supervisory officers for their role in ensuring the peaceful conduct of the general elections to Lok Sabha 2024 in the state. He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in executing assigned tasks effectively.

Discussions at the meeting encompassed administrative matters and strategies to enhance operational efficiency, with a particular focus on the ongoing War against Drugs. Unit Commanders and senior Police officers actively deliberated on various issues related to the department and explored ways to improve coordination among Units, streamline processes, and optimize available resources for the effective execution of the department’s primary mandate of crime prevention, detection, investigation, and maintenance of public peace and internal security in the State.
