Jennifer Lalrinzuali Crowned Miss Mizoram 2024
Jennifer Lalrinzuali from Republic Veng emerged victorious as she clinched the prestigious title of Miss Mizoram 2024 at the highly anticipated Grand Finale held in Aizawl on April 26. Organized by Zonet TV in collaboration with the Department of Women and Child Development, the event showcased months of anticipation and fierce competition among contestants from across Mizoram.
Lalrinzuali’s impressive win not only earned her the coveted crown but also a grand prize of Rs 2 lakh and a CK Vespa Scooter. Additionally, she was bestowed with the honor of becoming the Brand Ambassador for the Department of Women and Child Development.
Competing against 20 talented contestants hailing from various corners of Mizoram, Lalrinzuali’s victory stood out among the rest. Rebecca Zothanpuii from Khawzawl secured the first runner-up position, receiving a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while Evelyn Zachhingpuii from Saikhamakawn claimed the second runner-up spot, accompanied by a prize of Rs 50,000.
Further recognition was awarded to Lalhmingsangi from Kolasib and Lalrinhlui from Champhai, who each received Rs. 25,000 as part of the top five finalists. The event also featured special awards, with Lalhmingsangi honored with the People’s Choice award, R. Vanlalawmpuii from Serchhip receiving the BWAP award, Lalrinhlui claiming the Miss Beautiful Skin award, and Jennifer Zothanzuali from Lunglei being named Miss Congeniality.
The Miss Mizoram 2024 pageant not only celebrated beauty and talent but also highlighted the cultural richness and diversity of Mizoram while providing a platform for young women to showcase their skills and aspirations.
