In a tragic incident near the Amingaon Sharaighat bridge, police constable Havildar Gopal Prasad Chaudhary lost his life after being struck by a truck. Hailing from Kulhati, Hajo, Chaudhary was a dedicated member of the police force.
The accident occurred around 4 am while Chaudhary was on duty in Guwahati. The Amingaon traffic police promptly responded, recovering his body and transporting it to Tolaram Bafna Hospital for necessary procedures. The deceased’s motorcycle was also found at the accident site, aiding authorities in their investigation.
Jalukbari traffic police seized a 10-wheeler truck with registration number NL 01 AG 2601, suspected to have been involved in the collision resulting in Havildar Gopal Prasad Chaudhary’s untimely demise.
