AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal Sparks Controversy with Contentious Remarks at Rangamati Rally
During a rally in Rangamati, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal ignited controversy with his sharp criticism and derogatory remarks targeting various political figures.
Ajmal’s comments took aim at Rakibul Hussain, whom he referred to as “Blind” and remarked that Hussain couldn’t even walk. These derogatory remarks aimed at Hussain intensified the political tensions in the region.
Not stopping there, Ajmal launched scathing attacks on Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi, labeling him a ‘traitor’ and ‘dumb’. He vehemently defended himself against recent accusations of being a ‘Gaddar’ (traitor) to the nation, while accusing Gogoi of dishonesty.
Amidst the political rhetoric, Ajmal also highlighted his achievements, citing developments such as the Phulbari Bridge and medical college, while appealing for votes from the electorate.
In response to Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to Dhubri, Ajmal expressed his intent to attend, stating, “I will also go to see if people from the Gandhi family come,” indicating his interest in observing the political landscape.
Accompanied by MLAs Habib Bashir Ahmed Qasimi and Shamsul Huda, along with AIUDF Yuva Morcha central president Zeherul Islam and other party leaders and activists, Ajmal’s rally showcased a blend of political rhetoric and campaign fervor.
However, Ajmal’s remarks during the rally have sparked debates and raised eyebrows, further intensifying the political atmosphere in the lead-up to the elections.
