Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki Immersed in Nagaland’s Cultural Splendor During Kohima Visit

Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland, reverberated with cultural vibrancy as Japanese Ambassador to India Hiroshi Suzuki embarked on a two-day visit to the state, commencing on the evening of May 7.

The arrival of Ambassador Suzuki in Kohima was met with a traditional and hearty welcome extended by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his wife Kaisa Rio at the CM’s residential complex, symbolizing the warm ties between Japan and Nagaland.

The cultural immersion continued with a spectacular showcase of Nagaland’s artistic prowess, curated by the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA). Performers from various corners of the state captivated the audience with their talents, adding a touch of splendor to the evening.

Presiding over the gala event was Chief Secretary J. Alam, who welcomed a distinguished gathering comprising ministers, advisors, MLAs, and senior bureaucrats. The gathering provided a platform for cultural exchange and strengthened bilateral relations between Japan and Nagaland.
