Sikkim Kho Kho Officials Participate in National Workshop in Delhi
A delegation from the Sikkim Kho Kho Association, headed by President BK Roka, took part in the National Technical Kho Kho Officials Workshop held by the All India Kho-Kho Federation at Karnal Singh Stadium from May 7th to May 11th.
Leading the delegation was Chief Technical Coach Anup Chakraborty, accompanied by Physical Education Teachers (PETs) Tilak Ojha from Lingdok Senior Secondary School and Teju Hang Limboo from another local institution.
President Roka expressed his excitement about the event, emphasizing its significance for the advancement of Kho Kho in Sikkim. “It’s a moment of great pride for us to see our officials participate in such an important workshop,” Roka commented.
The Sikkim Kho Kho Association aims to bolster the sport at both grassroots and competitive levels. Roka hopes that this initiative will inspire more officials in Sikkim to take an active interest in Kho Kho. “Our goal is to foster a stronger community around Kho Kho,” he added.
Highlighting the importance of teamwork, Roka said, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.” He urged all stakeholders to support the sport’s growth, aspiring to achieve greater recognition and success for Kho Kho.
