Arunachal Pradesh’s eOffice Initiative Receives Acclaim from Chief Minister Pema Khandu
Chief Minister Pema Khandu lauds Arunachal Pradesh’s eOffice initiative for its commendable achievements in revolutionizing governmental operations, emphasizing transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
Expressing his satisfaction on X, Chief Minister Khandu applauds the eOffice initiative for its pivotal role in modernizing administrative processes, stating, “I am delighted to witness the continuous success of our eOffice initiative, which has significantly improved transparency, efficiency, and accountability in governmental operations.”
Highlighting the initiative’s transformative impact, Khandu underscores its contribution to enhancing public trust through digitized workflows and electronic file management. He notes that by minimizing bureaucratic delays and reducing opportunities for corruption, eOffice has bolstered public confidence in governance. He extends gratitude to all involved in driving this comprehensive reform.
Providing insights into the initiative’s scope, Khandu reveals that eOffice is operational in various government offices, including the Secretariat, Directorates, District Headquarter offices, and select Block offices. With 827 offices onboard, Arunachal Pradesh leads in e-file usage among states and ranks 11th nationwide.
Furthermore, he shares impressive statistics illustrating the initiative’s efficacy, including 13,006 accounts created, 1,72,322 e-Files generated and moved 45,20,928 times, and 8,64,923 e-receipts generated and moved 1,93,07,984 times. These figures underscore the widespread adoption and efficiency of the eOffice system in streamlining administrative processes and promoting digital governance across the state.
