Manipur Security Forces Intensify Search Operations in Vulnerable Regions
In a concerted effort to bolster security, Manipur’s security forces have launched intensive search operations and house-to-house inspections across the state’s fringe and vulnerable regions, particularly in the hill and valley districts.
A notable operation took place in Jakuradhor Part-II village under Borobekra Police Station in Jiribam District. During this meticulous search, security personnel verified the identities of 140 individuals, covering around 30 to 40 houses in the area.
Manipur Police announced the operation on the microblogging site X, stating, “Search operations and area domination were conducted by security forces in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts. Security forces carried out a house-to-house search at Jakuradhor Part-II village, covering around 30-40 houses under Borobekra PS, Jiribam District, and verified approximately 140 persons. No untoward incident occurred during the operation.”
