Arunachal: Pema Khandu Unveils Vision for ‘Viksit Arunachal’

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has reaffirmed his dedication to achieving the vision of ‘Viksit Arunachal’ through comprehensive and inclusive development plans aimed at reaching all parts of the state, including its most remote areas.

In a recent announcement on X, Khandu, now in his third consecutive term, detailed his administration’s priorities, focusing on ensuring equitable access to essential services and infrastructure for all communities.

“We are committed to realizing the vision of ‘Viksit Arunachal’ with comprehensive and inclusive development strategies. Our objective is to make sure even the most remote regions have access to vital services and infrastructure,” Khandu stated.

Central to this vision is the full implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which Khandu emphasized as key to transforming the educational landscape of Arunachal Pradesh. The NEP 2020 aims to improve educational access, quality, and learning outcomes, providing students with the skills necessary for their personal and professional development in the 21st century.

“The full adoption of NEP 2020 will enable universal access to quality education and improve learning outcomes throughout the state. We aim to equip our students with the 21st-century skills they need for holistic development,” Khandu affirmed.

Khandu’s vision highlights a proactive approach towards holistic development, ensuring that Arunachal Pradesh advances in an inclusive and sustainable manner.
